In the 1990s, Gürsel Yıldırım was a member of the migrant collective that, among other things, published the magazine köXüz (https://kxzarchiv.wordpress.com/) from 1995 to 2000 as a platform for migrants and refugees. He has been actively involved in anti-racist remembrance work for many years. One of Gürsel’s particular causes is the renaming of public spaces in memory of the victims of right-wing violence.
