Radical Solidarity and a Helpful Attitude
by Gerlinde Krehn: More information
workshop
- Language: German
- Duration: 3 hours
- In person only
What’s it about?
“Reflect, dare, persevere! And you will achieve much in life.”
The wisdom contained in this proverb is worth examining. It is about attitude and, consequently, behaviour. How do we interact with one another when different perspectives are at play, when others set different priorities, or when ideas trigger resistance within us regarding ‘our’ topic? How do we act in solidarity and make progress towards a future-oriented, fairer society?
In this workshop, we’ll explore the topic of attitude and behaviour interactively, both through reflection and practical activities, and seek concrete insights for putting them into practice:
- Which attitudes are helpful?
- How do we find solutions that are based on solidarity without treating everything the same?
- What do people need in order to seek consensus and find fair outcomes for
- the challenges we face?
- What does this mean for me personally?
Aim of the session
Options for action in dealing with one another and with significant opposing positions. Ways to develop concrete steps towards radical solidarity in the face of conflicting priorities, perspectives and opinions.
