Thomas is a lecturer, mediator, artist, philosopher, activist and process designer. He is currently writing his Master’s thesis at the Berlin University of the Arts on the topic of ‘Intersectional and prefigurative conflict management in social movements’. He previously studied economics and philosophy at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. His current research focuses on prefiguration, transformation, conflict management that is sensitive to discrimination and critical of power, as well as alliance politics within social movements. His current activities also focus on anti-fascism, intersectionality and approaches to feminist and emancipatory education both within and outside institutions. Thomas teaches at various universities and runs freelance workshops, both in institutional settings and in self-organised contexts such as festivals or activist groups.
