  1. Listening and speaking on ‘How do we make solidarity possible?’ 15:45–16:30 (45 mins)

In the first part, we’ll embark on a journey together, listening and speaking on the question ‘How do we make solidarity possible?’ We’ll listen to one person for 5 minutes without interrupting them. We’ll then move on to another person and speak to them for 5 minutes, without them interrupting us, on the question ‘How do we make solidarity possible?’ The 5-minute intervals will be marked by a musical cue.

  1. Presentation of the discussion forums on the question ‘How do we make solidarity possible?’ 16:30–16:45 (15 mins)

We then come together in a plenary session, and those who wish to present a discussion forum on a specific topic relating to the question “How do we make solidarity possible?” do so in the plenary. Each discussion forum is provided with a flipchart to document the key findings.

  1. World Café and discussion forums at various tables 16:45–18:15 (1.5 hours)

There will be a brief introduction to the World Café. Everyone is free to stay at a discussion forum, leave it or join another at any time. People are expected to come and go as they please. Staying put is also an option. Those who proposed the discussion forums are invited to take charge of the flipchart, record the key insights and then present them to the plenary.

  1. Plenary session: Reports from the discussion forums: How do we make solidarity possible? 18:15–18:45 (30 mins)

We will reconvene in the plenary session to report on the ways of fostering solidarity that were identified in the discussion forums.
